Description

A 6-day, virtual, synchronous basic training on Tholáge® Neuropsychotherapy (formerly known as RELEASE), presented over 2 weekends (39 CEs in total*).

Tholáge® Neuropsychotherapy is an eye-movement, somatic, and cognitive protocol of short psychophysiological exercises that release specific neurochemicals, shown to access suppressed emotions—which are transdiagnostic of numerous mental disorders—manage the nervous system, and lessen symptoms of depression, anxiety, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Tholáge is the ONLY modality that uses ALL necessary elements of true memory reconsolidation to treat complex trauma, including:

· destabilization of the memory, through parasympathetic (calming) exercises
· changing of the emotional, physical, and cognitive associations with the memory
· closing the memory back up again, or reconsolidation, through the sympathetic (activating) state

This leads to lasting change as traumatic memories are literally rewired, symptoms are alleviated, and more adaptive self-perceptions are solidified.

Deeply rooted in existing literature, Tholáge has also been studied in university clinical trials, showing large effect sizes for the treatment of depression, anxiety, PTSD, and emotion regulation.
