Deanna Chrones is the creator of Tholáge® Neuropsychotherapy. She is a PhD student in counselor education and supervision at Northern Illinois University (NIU). Deanna received her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University where she graduated with highest honors. She sees patients in Illinois (Lic. 178.017161).
Deanna is leading the newest clinical trial on Tholáge® through NIU. She previously helped with research studies on Tholáge® through other major universities. She has authored articles, including as first author, published in peer-reviewed scientific journals and given presentations to national audiences about the connection between the human eye and emotion regulation (ER), autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR), and Tholáge® Neuropsychotherapy.
Deanna is certified in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), certified in hypnosis, and has more than eight years of experience in human services.
